God is concerned about our happiness, but not as much as He is concerned about our joy. We all want to be happy. God wants us to be happy too. However, happiness is fleeting and is dependent on circumstances. Oh, but then there is joy. Joy is the place set apart in our hearts where there is peace, and rest, and gladness. Joy does not depend on circumstances; joy takes over them. It's okay to seek happiness, but God is big enough, and gracious enough to give us joy. Do you agree?

I recently came across a post online that simply said we are living inside one of our answered prayers, while we waiting for our next one! After reading this, I started to reflect upon my journey through life and upon the countless prayers I have prayed to God. When God starts showing out and answering prayers, it’s almost difficult to put into words how elated and intimately grateful I am to have experienced my own prayers coming into fruition. It makes me want to praise Him even more, my bones feel like shouting! No matter how many times God has answered my prayers and blessings, it still feels just as exciting as the first time!!
